Volunteer
“Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for god loves a cheerful giver.”
2 Corinthians 9: 6-7
The Community Pregnancy Center relies heavily on the service and commitment of volunteers to carry out this critical ministry in our community. If you have a passion to help women, consider becoming a volunteer. Our Center is currently open Monday through Friday.
Our staff will train you in whichever of the following areas you would like to serve:
Client Advocate – Meet 1 on 1 with clients for one-hour lessons on parenting, relationships, life skills or Bible studies AND meet with women who come for a pregnancy test, and educate them about their options.
Front Desk Reception – Welcome clients to the Center, answer phones, complete data entry.
Baby Store Volunteer – Clients who come for Earn While You Learn classes then shop in our Baby Store. You can help us sort clothes, as well as help clients shop.
Event Help – We have various events throughout the year that we can use help with.
Volunteer shifts: We serve clients from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday, Wednesday, & Thursday; Tuesdays from 10 am-7 pm.
We ask volunteers to commit to a 4-hour shift/ week. Shifts run from either 9:15 am to 1:15 pm, or from 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm. By committing to a specific day, you allow us to more efficiently schedule clients according to how much help we have.
If you are interested in volunteering, please call the center at 928-778-7654, Monday through Friday or come by the Center and pick up an application.
