Volunteer for Community Pregnancy Center
The Community Pregnancy Center relies heavily on the service and commitment of volunteers to carry out this critical ministry in our community. If you have a passion to help women, consider becoming a volunteer. Our Center is currently open Monday through Friday.
Our staff will train you in whichever of the following areas you would like to serve:
Education Counselor – Meet 1 on 1 with clients for one hour lessons on parenting, relationships, life skills or Bible studies.
Pregnancy Resource Counselor – Meet with women who come for a pregnancy test, and then educate them about their options.
Office help – Welcome clients to the Center, answer phones, complete data entry.
Baby Store – Clients who come for Earn While You Learn classes then shop in our baby store. You can help us sort clothes, as well as help clients shop.
Events – We have various events throughout the year that we can use help with.
Volunteer shifts We serve clients from 10:00am to 4:00pm Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday and Tuesdays from 10am-7pm with a volunteer shift available from 4:00 pm to 7:00pm. We ask volunteers to commit to one 4 hour shift a week. Shifts run from either 9:15am to 1:15 pm, or from 12:30pm to 4:30pm. By committing to a specific day, you allow us to more efficiently schedule clients according to how much help we have. If you are interested in volunteering, please call the center at 778-7654, Monday through Friday or come by the Center and pick up an application.
